Usability
In designing this site one of our key goals was to maximise the site's accessibility. Listed below are a number of design features we have incorporated.
Access keys
For users who do not have or cannot use a mouse or other pointing device
we have implemented the following access keys.
alt 1 Homepage
alt 2 Committee

alt 4 Membership
alt 5 Notices

alt 7 Links
alt 8 Sitemap
alt 0 Help
Using the access keys:
PC: hold down the Alt key and press the appropriate number or letter key - Note in Internet Explorer you may then have to press the enter key.
Mac: Hold down the Control key and press the appropriate number or letter key.
The tab key can also be used to jump from element to element whilst the enter key will activate the selected element.
Scalable text
All textual content within the site has been made scalable, site visitors with vision difficulties can enlarge the sites' text using their web browser. In Internet Explorer simply select "view/Text size/largest" from the File menu.
Site-Map
This feature is particularly useful for the blind and partially sighted visitors to the site. The site-map allows these users to access common site tasks and find information much more quickly through their screen reading software.

This site has been widely tested in most modern browsers and is found to be compatible with Internet Explorer 5, 5.5 & 6, Opera 7 & 8, Mozilla, Firefox, Netscape Communicator 7. Should you have any difficulties viewing the site please contact the webmaster
