ACPOHE Members were sent the 2008-2009 “Grading, pay and conditions of employment 2008” document via email in June. The document will also be featured fully in the next issue of ACPOHE’s publication due out in July. Functional Capacity Evaluation Draft Guidance

In early 2008, the ACPOHE executive committee commissioned Jacqui Smith to develop a draft guidance document regarding Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE’s) performed by members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

The draft was published and presented at ACPOHE’s annual conference in Glasgow on June 6th 2008. A debate, chaired by Margaret Revie, from the CSP, followed. ACPOHE members and other CSP members can view this document on Interactive CSP – www.interactivecsp.org.uk. A consultation phase in now planned.

ACPOHE Executive Committee

At ACPOHE’s Annual General Meeting on June 5th 2008, Bronwyn Clifford resigned from the executive committee. ACPOHE would like to thank Bronwyn for all of her hard work and the contribution she has made as Public Relations Officer. ACPOHE member Jason Chillingworth was voted on to the executive committee at the meeting . Welcome on board Jason.

It is hoped that for the year June 2008 – 2009 a number of sub committees will be formed. If any ACPOHE member would like to be part of a subcommittee please contact the Chairman Fran Polak.
